Here (finally), the last ticket on our third trip to New Zealand. It dates when even six months ago, it is time to turn the page. And to celebrate the New Year, we went to Auckland to go north of the country where it is good and the climate is tropical. We have therefore concluded on 1 January in t-shirt (you might say, it does not change much in recent years). Direction, therefore, Pahia boat trip with Russell a small island (or rather a peninsula) against Pahia, very Victorian, very old England. I really liked the ambience as well as landscapes.

We left early the next morning via Auckland and the airport, we were the first of January and we were expected to fetra the new year in Tahiti . And yes, time shift, we started on January 1, New Zealand, arriving the evening of December 31 in Tahiti, all this in 5 hours by plane: magic!

Lonely Planet Japan


few weeks ago, Alapage contacted me via my mail offering me to choose a book Travel a maximum value of 40 € ; of course, in return I promise to do a review of the book chosen. I opted for the Lonely Planet Japan:
-because the Lonely Planet is THE guide we took with us when we travel because it is generally the most comprehensive
-because we discovered the mid-Japan April, only two days but we have enough to make us want to return. Normally we two weeks should go next year.

I did not read it completely because I always very difficult to immerse myself in the country guides that I do not know yet (good).
I traveled with the culture, interesting though not always fairly detailed, but the role of Lonely Planet is to present briefly all aspects of a country, not go into detail. I also read on the pages that we visited, namely: Narita and two wards of Tokyo, Shinjuku district and the Imperial Palace. Obviously, I have things to add from what I saw and felt but overall, all is said and well said.

Sir, it has started reading full is satisfied with what they read even if it is particularly frustrated by the historical part of Japan, we must say that this country has a rich history that is impossible to summarize adequately in a handful of pages.

So a big fat pad, not exhaustive, but rather provided for organizing a trip to Japan and know the customs of the country. It will be in our luggage and return to have been worn constantly consulted.
