We spent two nights in Taupo, we planned to get to Turangi but it was raining. We've still done a tour in this small town a little dead.
On Lake Taupo, there are birds, including swans, black, white swans that are not found in mainland New Zealand.

We pushed up Tokaanu Thermal Pools where we had already walked 3 years ago. is an isolated area, not very easy to find less impressive than other sites visited before, but still, I like this quiet little walk where you see nobody.
